This report details the design, implementation, and analysis of a cellular automaton (CA) to model the dynamics of forest fire propagation. It presents a theoretical foundation, followed by a description of the computational model developed in NetLogo and integrated with Python. Multiple experiments were carried out to evaluate the impact of parameters such as vegetation density, wind, and humidity. The results demonstrate the model's capacity to replicate complex emergent behaviors, such as the percolation phenomenon and anisotropic propagation. The analysis concludes with the validation of the CA as an effective tool for the study of this type of dynamic system.
I'm open to new opportunities. Let's discuss how I can bring this level of engineering to your team.
